There are two types of space.
Relaxing.
Doing.
Relaxing space is the area where we allow our brain and body to do just that relax.
The doing space is where we physically and mentally work (paid, unpaid or otherwise).
The blur
In todays world there is a blur.
Doing space and relaxing space are now one of the same thing.
The brain doesn’t know whether to relax or do.
New Space
The new space is what we label in our minds.
New space is doing space when we turn up to it with our laptop and pen.
New space is relaxing space when we turn up with nothing, our favourite book and may be our favourite beverage.
The only space you need to be worried about is the space in our hands.
Having the strength to have what is needed in our hands is the key.
As this will dictate whether the space is for relaxing and for doing.

Love this Lizzie… it’s even harder to separate the 2 things when you have no physical trigger like going somewhere else to separate the activities… for someone who likes variety I’m finding it hard! Jo x
