Breathe For Your Brain
There is no escape.
Our brains need a chance to breathe.
In a world of doing.
Whether working, watching and or playing.
We tend to be working our brains
All the time.
Even when we think we are relaxing we turn to some form of doing.
What I am noticing more and more.
That people like you and me.
Need time for
What I call our brains to breath.
When our brain is breathing
It’s like having a gap between each breath.
There is a space for less activity for our brains to do nothing.
And in so doing we feel better for it.
One of the best ways I am hearing people do this.
Is giving themselves permission to get outside.
And go for a walk, run or bike ride.
It is here the brain breathes.
And as a bonus.
Great thinking and creativity takes place.
You come back feeling good and also completed more than you thought.
Getting outside is more valuable than you think.
Now is the time to manage and look after your brain.
